ASHEVILLE, NC- April, 2009 Daniels Graphics and Daniels Communications are working together to reach out and do something positive in this economic time of uncertainty. During the month of May the company announced they are kicking off their “Will Print for Food” Campaign.
With the help of its employees, vendors, and customers the company will do a campaign and food drive with Manna Food Bank. For every print job entered in the month of May, the company will contribute 10 cans or packages of food to Manna.
In addition, employees will collect cans of food during the month and, as an added incentive, for every 5 cans that an employee brings in during the month, they will be entered into a drawing for a paid day off, and $50.00 to spend. The second prize winner will receive a gift card for a dinner out at a local restaurant.
“Times are tough right now for many in our community”, said Jim Daniels, President & CEO, “we want to do what we can to help.” The company will accept donations from the community for this drive. Cans or dry goods my be delivered to 131 Sweeten Creek Rd. during regular business hours – 8 – 5 PM, Monday through Friday.
Please help us help the less fortunate by chipping in and donating food.

Cutting Spending Hurts Brands Long Term

Companies whose ad spending didn’t vary according to economic cycles — based on an analysis of Ad Age data on global ad spending — also tended to increase their stock prices an average of 1.3 percentage points annually ahead of others from 1986 to 2006, said Mr. Steenkamp, who analyzed global results of 26 marketers across multiple industries.
