As usual, Seth Godin is right. Truly we all dread calling customer service lines. Mainly because we all know good and well that calling equals a robot vortex. Hearing the words, “We appreciate your call” makes my skin crawl.
Think of how much it differentiates your company to have the phonecalls handled by a live person within 3 rings. You might not be saving that .15 per call, but how much are you gaining?
